Next, to Make a Cover for the Comforter

The comforter cover involved much crawling around on the floor. The square tiles on our floor made lining-up the cloth easy.

Volumes of cloth went through Marilyn's Bernina sewing machine!

Here Marilyn is pinning the top panels to the queen size sheet for the backing.

Our daughter, Jill suggested we use panels of cloth rather than a bed sheet (as we have used in the past). This gave us a lot more choice as to design and color. Would you believe Gary chose these colors?!?
