River Island State Park - Parker, Arizona

After leaving the freezing weather at home we arrived at River Island State Park on the Colorado River.

This is looking downstream at River Island with California across the river on the right. We tried to kayak on the river this year, but the current was too strong!! They were letting a lot of water out of Parker Dam this year and we just couldn't make any progress upstream.
