BLM Land near Yuma, Arizona

After a week of playing at the retirement homes in the Phoenix area we needed a little rest and relaxation to rejuvinate ourselves for the coming weeks. So, we headed down to one of our favorite spots near Yuma, Arizona called Senators Wash in the BLM. We like to camp at a spot called Fish Hook Flats. Up to ten days camping for $30.00! This was the view from our camper.

While at Senators Wash we went over to Martinez Lake and put our kayak in the water there. Part of the lake is a wildlife refuge. It was a fun and relaxing time.

This was the "fish" symbol we made in January 2005. It was still there!

Arizona has incredible sunsets! This is so typical of the desert. Now you know why we love going there. Posted by Picasa
