New Zealand Continued

This was our first view of New Zealand after the 12 hour flight. We left LAX at 9:30pm on Saturday, November 24 and arrived in Auckland, NZ at 7:15am on Monday, November 26. We lost Sunday crossing the International Date Line.

The flight to Christchurch was at 9:00am and arrived at 10:20am. Checked in to our hotel room, took a shower and walked around the city.

The Christchurch Botanical Garden is huge and the trees are very old!
