How can you post a ten day trip that produced over 600 photos and do it any justice???

I scaled it down to 200 for a slide show.

Here is a more abriviated sampling.

New Zealand is basically two islands, North Island and South Island.

We flew Air New Zealand, a 12 hour flight from LAX to Auckland, NZ (pronounced "Oak land" by the Kiwis) in the North Island. We then took Air New Zealand to Christchurch in the South Island.

After an overnight stay in Christchurch we boarded the TransAlpine Train to the West Coast.

Arriving on the West Coast 4-1/2 hours later we rented a car and drove 1853 km (~1160miles)the next seven days.
